Welcome to Admissions at Abu Dhabi Grammar School (AGS)
Students at Abu Dhabi Grammar School (Canada) come from more than 50 countries, creating a diverse, welcoming, and internationally minded community where students learn, grow, and thrive together. Our program serves students from KG2 through Grade 12, providing a continuous educational pathway from the early years through high school graduation.
At AGS, we are proud to provide a safe, inclusive, and dynamic learning environment built around the Nova Scotia Curriculum. The curriculum combines a strong academic foundation with a focus on critical thinking, communication, problem-solving, collaboration, creativity, and independent learning. These skills help prepare students not only for academic success, but also for university, further education, future careers, and life beyond school.
What is the Nova Scotia Curriculum?
The Nova Scotia Curriculum is the educational program developed by the Province of Nova Scotia, Canada. It provides students with a well-rounded academic education while developing the knowledge, skills, and competencies needed to become confident, capable, and lifelong learners.
Students are encouraged to go beyond memorizing information. They learn to think critically, communicate effectively, solve problems, collaborate with others, apply their knowledge, and take increasing responsibility for their own learning.
The Nova Scotia education program is also offered internationally, including at schools around the world. The Nova Scotia High School Graduation Diploma is accepted by universities and colleges worldwide, giving graduates access to internationally recognized pathways for further education.
